These terms cover thorsteingames.com, find-the-fox.com and the games on them. By playing, making an account or subscribing, you agree to them. The short version: play nice, Gold is billed until you cancel, and if you're unhappy with a charge, ask us within 14 days and we'll refund it.
Playing
Our games are free to play, and most of them show ads to cover their costs. You don't need an account to play. In online games, be decent to the people you play with: no harassment, hate, spam or cheating that spoils the game for others. We may remove names or messages, or block players, to keep games enjoyable.
Accounts
Accounts are optional and free. They save your progress, such as daily streaks, so it follows you to other devices. Keep access to the email or Google account you sign in with, since that's how you get back in. You can delete your account at any time on the account page.
Thorstein Gold
- What it is. A subscription that turns off the ads in our games while you're signed in. Gold members also get early access to new games and Gold-only features as we add them; what's included may change over time.
- Billing. Gold costs $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, plus any sales tax or VAT where you live. It renews automatically at the end of each month or year, charged to the payment method you chose, until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time with "Manage subscription" on the account page. Gold keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Refunds. If you're not happy with a charge, contact us within 14 days of it and we'll refund it in full. After that, payments aren't refundable, except where the law says otherwise.
- Price changes. If the price changes, we'll tell you by email before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again for a while. If it still can't be paid, Gold ends.
Things you make
Lists, brackets and other things you make in our tools are yours. Only add pictures and text you have the right to use. Things you make stay on your device unless you share them, and a share link carries them inside the link itself.
Changes and availability
We keep improving the games, so they and these terms may change. If a change to these terms matters for Gold subscribers, we'll email them before it applies. We try to keep everything running, but games may sometimes be unavailable, and we may retire a game.
The legal part
The games are provided as they are, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.
