One player guesses a mystery word. Everyone else writes a one-word clue, but matching clues cancel out. Work together and see how many cards your team can get. Play on your phones, together in a room or over a call. No downloads, no sign-up.
How to play
1. Pick a number
The guesser picks 1 to 5 without looking. Everyone else sees which word that is.
2. One word each
Everyone else writes a one-word clue. No talking, no peeking at each other's.
3. Twins cancel out
Matching clues are wiped before the guesser sees them. Be helpful, but be different!
4. One guess
Right scores the card. Wrong loses the next card too. Not sure? Pass.
A Just One style game you can play online, free
Clueless is a cooperative word game: there's no winner and loser, just your team against the deck. It plays like the party game Just One. The fun is in the clues that go wrong: four people all writing “ice” for penguin, and leaving the guesser with nothing.
Make a public room for anyone to join, or a private one just for your friends. Anyone can watch as a spectator, though spectators never see the word, so a TV in the room won't give it away.
