Play Just One online, free
Love Just One but can't get everyone around one table? Clueless is the same idea built for phones and video calls. Everyone writes a one-word clue, matching clues cancel out, and the guesser gets one shot at the mystery word.
How to play Just One online with friends
- Start a room. Pick a name, open the lobby and make a private room.
- Invite everyone. Send the 4-letter code or the link. Friends join on their own phones, in the same room or on a call.
- The guesser picks a number from 1 to 5. Everyone else sees which word that is.
- Write one word each. Duplicates are wiped; the clue-givers check the rest.
- One guess. Right scores the card, wrong loses the next card too, and passing just skips this one.

FAQ
- Can you play Just One online?
- Just One is a boxed party game, but Clueless plays the same way in your browser: everyone writes a clue on their own phone, matching clues are wiped automatically, and the guesser only ever sees what's left. It's free and there's nothing to download.
- How do I play over Zoom, FaceTime or Discord?
- Get everyone on the call, then have one person start a room in the Clueless lobby and share the 4-letter code or link. Everyone joins on their phone or in another browser tab. Spectator view is safe to share on screen: it never shows the mystery word or the clues before the guess.
- Is it free?
- Yes. No accounts, no app, no payment. Ads only show between cards and on the final screen.
- How many players do you need?
- 3 to 10. With 3, each clue-giver writes two clues, just like the board game's three-player rule.
- Is there a winner?
- It's cooperative: the whole group plays against the deck and scores together. Players also get a point each time their clue helps get a card right, if you want bragging rights.
